Our Solution: Football + The 7Cs of Resilience
At Ludus Academy, we combine elite football training with guided mentoring, built around the 7Cs of Resilience framework (Ginsburg):
Confidence – believing in themselves
Competence – developing real skills
Connection – building trust & teamwork
Character – making positive choices
Contribution – recognising their value
Coping – handling stress & setbacks
Control – taking responsibility for actions

What the Programme Delivers Each Week
Football Session – delivered by ex-professionals, engaging even the hardest-to-reach pupils, teaching teamwork, discipline, and emotional control through sport.
Mentoring & Mindset Session – Classroom lessons using lived professional experience to link football lessons directly to life skills and resilience strategies.
Pupils don’t just play football. They learn how to think, react, and grow like professionals.
Professional Credibility
Led by Kevin Wright, former Chelsea Academy player and professional footballer, pupils learn from someone who has lived the pressure, setbacks, and discipline of elite sport. That authenticity makes the mentoring relatable, credible, and inspiring.
